In April this year we visited Atelier Doré on a special occasion. It was such a great experience. To hear their stories, see, feel and even fit their handmade and uniquely designed silver jewelry. We visited the workplace where most of the magic happens, and I thought by myself: How awesome is this! Then we found out we could follow a mini course and a friend of mine who was also very interested and yours truly started this new adventure together. And what an adventure it was. We learned so much and the mission was to make our own silver designs from scratch. Our ‘teachers’ were so inspirational, warm and fun to work with. They guided us through the process so passionately and shared their knowledge so freely. This and more (some things simply can’t be put to words) resulted in us making beautiful jewels. I am so proud of me and Am, I am so thankful we made this beautiful memory together, so happy we have our own handmade jewelry! And this made realize even more than ever that DREAMS DO COME TRUE! Because when I stood there the first time in that small, cozy, warm place I also thought: Man, I wish I could do this! And … 3 months later … I actually did!
