Yesterday I had an amazing experience that I intensely enjoyed. A special friend granted me the opportunity to paint again after a long time. It was such an amazing feeling to hold a brush in my hands again, to mix colors and create something beautiful on a blank canvas. I painted a butterfly. There were more options, but I was drawn to the butterfly immediately. I was taught a water coloring technique with acryl paint and I must say that I am very pleased with the result. But the butterfly got me thinking. They are such delicate animals. They develop in a special way and they have a short life. It made me wonder.. what do you do when you know you don’t have long to live? I don’t have the answer really. But maybe it is because they live so short that they come in such variety and exquisite colors for the world to enjoy them. Once again, yesterday made me realize to be thankful. For being granted a life (for 44 years now), for special moments with special friends and art! Oh, how I love art!
Have a wonderful day!
Love, Anjani
